Loom & Leaf mattresses are in fact made from eco-friendly materials. There is no mercury, lead or heavy metals and the company uses a natural thistle pulp woven into the mesh of the mattress to make it flame retardant.
Although, Loom & Leaf mattresses are not 100% organic, the company has created high quality, environmentally responsible products. Each layer is made of eco-friendly foams and organic cotton. The 5 lb memory foam layer is naturally cool and does not emit any gas, which keeps the mattress breathable and eco-friendly.
The company also makes it a point to use eco-friendly manufacturing processes. For instance, Loom & Leaf's foam suppliers use renewable oils in order to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses the manufacturing process produces.
